COVID-19 Resources for Businesses, Communities, and Local Governments

A collection of COVID-19 resources.
Last updated 5.26.2020

On March 19, 2020, the Governor Tom Wolf ordered all non-life-sustaining businesses in Pennsylvania to close their physical locations. Enforcement actions against businesses that do not close physical locations will begin at 8:00 a.m. Monday, March 23. On April 22, 2020, Governor Tom Wolf announced his detailed plan for reopening Pennsylvania with a targeted May 8th start. The administration will categorize reopening into three phases: red, yellow, green. Phases will be assigned based on conditions in a county, counties or region. In-person operations for businesses located in “yellow” phase counties must follow new guidance when opening. Visit our Businesses webpage to learn more.

To report a noncompliant business, contact your local law enforcement agency’s non-emergency number.

Stay-at-Home Guidance

The spread of the COVID-19 virus is presenting new challenges for our communities and the Pennsylvania economy. To continue to mitigate the spread, Governor Wolf and Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine amended the stay-at-home order for all counties in the red phase, and signed new orders for the 24 counties moving to yellow on May 8. The extended stay-at-home order will continue until June 4. All Pennsylvania schools will remain closed for the remainder of the academic year.
