On March 19, 2020, the Governor Tom Wolf ordered all non-life-sustaining businesses in Pennsylvania to close their physical locations. Enforcement actions against businesses that do not close physical locations will begin at 8:00 a.m. Monday, March 23. On April 22, 2020, Governor Tom Wolf announced his detailed plan for reopening Pennsylvania with a targeted May 8th start. The administration will categorize reopening into three phases: red, yellow, green. Phases will be assigned based on conditions in a county, counties or region. In-person operations for businesses must follow the COVID-19 Business Guidance. Visit our Businesses webpage to learn more.

To report a noncompliant business, contact your local law enforcement agency’s non-emergency number.

Stay-at-Home Guidance

The following counties will move to the yellow phase on May 29: Dauphin, Franklin, Huntingdon, Lebanon, Luzerne, Monroe, Pike, and Schuylkill.

All remaining counties in the red phase are expected to move to yellow by June 5 at 12:01 a.m.

All individuals in counties subject to this policy must STAY AT HOME except for certain essential activities and work to provide life-sustaining business and government services.
