Transit Revitalization Investment District (TRID) Fund Grant

The TRID Fund will make grants available to two selected applicants to assist with development or improvements within a Transit Revitalization Investment District.

(A TRID is a locally-designated district around a public transit station within which local taxes may be captured for infrastructure improvements.)

View the TRID Act – Act 238 of 2004

TRID Fund grants may be used to finance eligible development, transit station improvements, and other infrastructure improvements within a TRID, or for payment of debt incurred to finance an eligible project.

Two selected applicants will be eligible to receive a grant of up to $350,000 annually for up to 20 years. There is a 2 to 1 private dollars to TRID Fund dollars matching requirement.

Applications will be accepted from any “management entity,” the organization locally designated in accord with the TRID Act to administer and manage a Transit Revitalization Investment District.
