Wolf Administration Tours State-Supported Community Revitalization Projects, Fire House Expansion in Aston, Delaware County
Aston, PA – Today, Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) Deputy Secretary of Community Affairs Rick Vilello joined local leaders on a tour of state-supported community revitalization projects in Aston, Delaware County.

The tour led officials from the municipal building along Pennell Road, where a recent streetscaping project has improved pedestrian safety. The culmination of the tour was a visit to the Aston Township Fire Department, which recently received a $1 million grant to quadruple in size.
“Thank you to Governor Tom Wolf, Deputy Secretary Rick Vilello, Senator Tom Killion, Representative Leanne Krueger-Braneky, and the Delaware County Council for all their assistance in the completion of numerous projects from grants to land,” said Carol Graham, Aston Township commissioner. “We look forward to the positive improvements to our infrastructure and revitalization in the future.”
