Non-Profits & Government Entities

Interested Weatherization Service Providers

Non-profit agencies such as Community Action Agencies, local governments, and redevelopment authorities are eligible to provide weatherization services. Approved providers are part of a statewide network. In the event that additional providers are needed, the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) will initiate a Request for Proposals (RFP). All applicants must have experience in dealing with, the identification of, and service to, low-income families in their respective areas of the Commonwealth. The approval process includes a public hearing conducted by DCED. Only agencies that have been approved by DCED and the U.S. Department of Energy may apply for funding.

Applicants must also be an approved vendor of the Commonwealth through the Department of General Services (DGS).
