How do I complete my organizations monitoring report for this year?

All participating EITC/OSTC organizations operating on a fiscal year-end of 5/31 through 10/31 will be required to submit two Monitoring Reports – Part I as part of their FY 19/20 renewal application. For example, an organization with a 6/30 year-end will provide one Part I – Fiscal Report for FY end 6/30/18 and a second report for FY end 6/30/19 and likewise for organizations operating on similar fiscal year-ends. Organizations impacted by this change will only need to submit one Part II – Performance Report to be completed for the 2018-19 school year.

Should all business donations be included as part of my EITC/OSTC renewal documents?

No, participating non-profit organizations shall only report on direct tax credit donations from EITC/OSTC approved businesses. All other donations outside of tax credit participation including donations from other participating non-profits/private schools shall not be included as part of your renewal reports.

Do I need to submit an annual EITC/OSTC renewal application to remain eligible?

Yes, renewal documents are required to be submitted by all participating non-profit organizations annually on or after November 1st to maintain program eligibility.

How do I properly complete the Appendix V Part II – Performance Report?

Participants are only required to report on innovative educational programs previously approved by DCED. Do not include program expenditures unrelated to EITC.

Is it important to have access to previously submitted EITC/OSTC renewal applications?

Yes, it will significantly benefit those completing an updated renewal application to have access to prior submissions. Not only will you be able to see reported EITC/OSTC dollar amounts, but it will also assist participating EIO’s to know the format used for Performance Report submissions.
