Delaware Valley Regional Online Training Advances PA Jobs

In 2014 , The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission funded an online training course known as the Online Broadband & Technology Training program (OBTT). The program is geared towards career advancement for individuals interested in sharpening their skills. Many of the courses were selected with local government, non-profit, and small business owners in mind; however, they are perfect for any young adult job seekers as well as adults looking to advance themselves both personally and professionally.

In a global economy increasingly reliant on technology, it is vital for Pennsylvania municipalities, businesses, schools, non-profit organizations, and other stakeholders to have training in computer programs and applications to manage their work effectively.

This program was designed for individuals to undertake their own improvement activities, and has received numerous positive comments from its participants, including Joe Collura of Chester County, who writes:

“I just completed two courses: Brand Management for Social Media and Wireless Technologies and Using E-mail, the Internet, and Social Media Safely in a Corporate Environment. I’ve found the courses beneficial and really hope they end up making me more marketable. I plan to take more courses related to E-mail Marketing, Online Marketing, and Website Development.”
