Transit Revitalization Investment District (TRID) Fund Grant

Overview

The TRID Fund will make grants available to two selected applicants to assist with development or improvements within a Transit Revitalization Investment District.

(A TRID is a locally-designated district around a public transit station within which local taxes may be captured for infrastructure improvements.)

Uses

TRID Fund grants may be used to finance eligible development, transit station improvements, and other infrastructure improvements within a TRID, or for payment of debt incurred to finance an eligible project.

Funding

Two selected applicants will be eligible to receive a grant of up to $350,000 annually for up to 20 years. There is a 2 to 1 private dollars to TRID Fund dollars matching requirement.

Eligibility

Applications will be accepted from any “management entity,” the organization locally designated in accord with the TRID Act to administer and manage a Transit Revitalization Investment District.
